Welcome to Reading & District Beekeepers Association

Reading Beekeepers (RBKA) is a friendly group of beekeepers all interested in the promotion and preservation of the Honey Bee. The information you will find has been designed to encourage the practice of good beekeeping and explain some of the activities the association has planned.

Want to know more or thinking of becoming a beekeeper? Look at 'Calendar' link to come and find out more or look at the 'Courses' available, in all cases contact our Secretary.  You are invited to come along and meet us. We're a friendly bunch and we'll make you very welcome - "A whole new world awaits you ".

Following the Annual Delegates Meeting of The British Beekeepers Association (the BBKA) earlier in January. Reading & District Beekeepers Association are now direct members of the BBKA. Your committee has been working on this following the dissolution of The Federation of Berkshire Beekeepers Associations as voted for by the majority* of the four component members early in 2016 at The Federation’s AGM.
